History of the Iconic Green Cloth
Green has long been the representative colour of cue sports, originating from lawn-based games which were traditionally played outdoors on grass. When the games moved indoors and onto tables, green cloth was chosen to mimic the look of grass and maintain a visual connection to the game’s origins.
It is also believed that the green surface provides a calm, neutral background that helps players focus and makes the balls easier to see under various lighting conditions.
Over time, green cloth became a defining feature of cue sports, carrying forward a sense of tradition and authenticity.
Olive Green
Of course we had to start with our traditional Green! All qualities of our cue sports fabrics are offered in Olive Green – a true green that reflects the colour cue sports cloths have traditionally been for over four centuries.

Smart
Available in 23 different shades, Smart is an extremely hard-wearing cloth for snooker and pool tables. We offer three beautiful green shades in our Smart range, including Olive Green (pictured above), plus:
Ranger Green – A rich, luxurious shade with earthy undertones. Ranger Green is reminiscent of dark greens found in military uniforms and forest foliage, conveying sophistication and a classic vibe.
Sage – Popular in contemporary homes, Sage is a soft, muted green with subtle grey undertones. It offers a modern twist on traditional green, creating a sense of calm and sophistication while maintaining a refined, classic look.
Elite Pro
